Blasting
Vapour Blasting
Used on non ferrous metals, this process removes dirt and corrosion restoring metal to it's manufactured finish. Also used to remove manufacturing flaws eg scratches and heat discolouring
Shot Blasting
Ideal for removing heavy corrosion from steel and iron. Very common on heavily aged items such as cast signs, furniture and old stoves
Bead Blasting
A more delicate process to remove paint, product build up and light corrosion. A very popular option for antiques and classic ferrous items requiring restoration and manufacture processes. This finish is also used to prepare items for paint and believe it or not, to improve the surface of plastic and rubber items!
If you have any questions regarding the finish you require, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We do recommend to send us an email showing your items, or pop in and we will gladly put tools down to assist you in getting the finish you require.
Please note, whilst we make every effort to remove all blast media, we cannot guarantee it is entirely removed. We encourage all customers to check and make all efforts to ensure media is removed even after us doing so. It is recommended to open and inspect all chambers possible and take all neccessary steps that are advised to you at drop off/pick up.
